Spring Gobbler!

by Joshua A. Moore
(Volant, PA, USA)

This was all done by hand using a diamond tip bit with a housing pen. Sketched one line at a time with 4 different bits: outliner, shader, filler and softener. It took a total of 8 hrs to finish and was framed by splintered expressions!

Use your stencil as a basic outline of your chosen photo. For example, use a stencil to make your turkey. After you finished stenciling, get a picture you can use of a turkey for reference and use a marker to pen in the details such as the feathering or details in the eyes. Also, add a background image which will pop your center design out like the trees in the field. Once again use a reference picture if you need to get a feel for the tree texture.

I hope this helps and I hope you enjoy the designs. Please feel free to check out some of my other work out at www.designs4dimes.com!
