Working with Stencil Mask Patterns

A stencil mask is a negative of a stencil. Where stencil patterns allow paint to be applied to open areas, a mask blocks areas so that paint can outline the images.



Here is a great video to let you see it in action. The video has some great ideas for all of your paper crafts like scrapbooking and card making.

Isn’t it great to see a new technique in action? I find it much easier to learn by watching someone else. This tutorial should have you thinking about all sorts of new artwork to design. I hope you are inspired to create some great works of art with stencils!
