All of the sample designs on this site are courtesy of
Designs From Penny
. You'll find many options in categories such as architectural details, gardens, cherubs, angels, fairies, frogs, wine and spirits, fleur de lis, oriental motifs and symbols. Plus many for the holidays and children's themes.
Any design can be emailed to you for a faster start to your project with great savings on shipping and handling fees.
Also, their designs can be purchased individually or in collections of several related images. For example the Oriental Designs Collection is complete with images such as a bonsai tree, a chinese dragon, a koi pond, cranes, bamboo and 10 symbols (harmony, prosperity, peace, long life...). A collection of related images are perfect for creating murals, art prints or just art scenes on anything.
Of course if you would prefer to order a
book in print
, there are currently 19 available. You'll find the most sought after designs for Christmas or Halloween, Angels and Cherubs or some very unique patterns for Vintage Luggage Labels. Don't miss the collection of 22 Fleur de lis. Just click on the link above or on the image of sample books below.
If you are looking for books on this subject, Amazon.com is the place to go (but you probably already knew that). Below is a few suggestions for books that might appeal to you.
Stencil Ease offers decorative, industrial and lettering designs. They also offer a custom design program. Plus you can find a good line of paints (like Americana) and supplies.
Mister Art.com is a site with a dedicated section for stenciling supplies. Just look under the Craft Supplies Tab along the top of the page and find the link on the left menu. You will find items like decorative pre-cut patterns, books, paints and stencil making supplies.
At Joann.com
you can find Delta Ceramcoat and Folk Art Paints. These are high quality acrylic paints. I highly recommend using a good paint. A thin or runny paint can seep under the bridges and blur the image. You will also find fabric paints, brushes and applicators.
For discount art supplies, try CreateForLess
. They have a good supply of acrylic and fabric paints. Do a search to obtain a wide variety of pre-cut designs and other supplies. Just click on the image.
Dick Blick Art Materials has a good supply of fine art supplies. You can also find a variety of acetates and films for making your own patterns.
Royal Design Studio
has a beautiful line of decorative stencils. You'll even love the web site. It's packed with great how to information and inspiration rooms that have been transformed with stencils. But it doesn't stop there. They also carry many of the supplies that you will need.
If you want to get the kids involved in some craft and art projects then S&S Worldwide is a great place for you! They also have a good supply of fabric paints.
I hope that you've found the resources you needed. I’d also like to invite you to subscribe to our blog by clicking on the link in the left column. Thank you for visiting!
